Have you ever been curious about how to braise that tough cut of meat or how to break down collard greens into the tastiest greens you've ever had!? Have you ever wondered how you can amplify the flavor profile of all of your soups, stews and meat dishes? How to get that restaurant style flavor when braising a pork shoulder or beef short ribs? Or are you simply interested in knowing how execute a perfect braise that will impress your taste buds and all of your dinner guests!

If you answered yes to any of the above, then we're here to show you how to make it happen!! Join Mike (Owner of Blank Page Cafe) located right here in the farm store of Bread and Butter Farm on an hour long how-to, DIY journey to discover what you've been missing in your cooking technique repertoire.

You'll take home a pint of house braised Winter greens and spiced beef made in the Blank Page Cafe kitchen alongside recipes, nutrition info, braising tips and tricks and most importantly, the confidence to braise anything in your home kitchen!

This class is designed for a beginner or anyone curious to perhaps learn a bit more about braising.

When: Tuesday April 26th 3:30pm-5p.m

Where: Blank Page Cafe Kitchen located at Bread and Butter Farm Store

What to Prepare: Come with an open mind and a willingness to learn and taste!

Class Size: Maximum of 4 people, minimum of 2.

COVID Protocol: Due to the small nature of our kitchen space, the class will be limited to 4 people. Masks are required at all times except when tasting the broth.

Class Format and Flow: Talking about braising 101 (tips and tricks, how to shop for the perfect braising cuts of meat, kitchen equipment, different types of braising, importance of whole animal consumption, considerations for flavor profiles when braising, preparing braising recipes, braising and nutrition, recipe breakdowns and tastings)
