ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP

Eat with us year-round! Our Annual Membership is great for people who are ready to commit to year round, seasonal, organic eating with us! This is our most affordable and most convenient membership option. You will work with us to pick the right membership level which equates to the amount of food you will get each week (veggies, meat and add-ons are all part of the Annual Membership) and then you pay monthly (automatically) so you don’t have to think about re-upping your seasonal shares. Annual Member Perks!

Each month’s perk is available to members who have signed up prior to the first of that month.

Early bird sign up for our beloved Summer Camp and Village School programs; must be an annual member by January 1st (early bird signup is now closed for summer camp 2023!)
One Burger Night admission for four, per household; must be an annual member by April 1st
Early bird access to our on-farm classes, workshops, and volunteer opportunities
5% off all purchases in the farm store
Monthly surprise sale/gift items

How is the Annual Membership different from the seasonal model?

We limit the number of our annual memberships and we have regular contact with members so that we can make sure the membership is working out well. The annual membership works well for people who plan to eat with us year round, it offers the greatest discount on our food and we assure the more limited items will be available for our annual members, and we offer more fun perks to the annual members! Annual members have a convenient monthly payment plan. Overall, we offer the annual membership to help deepen connection and build community through our eaters, provide the most affordable way to eat with us, and offer exciting perks! Think of our Annual Membership like the Platinum Membership with an airline (weird analogy, we know!).

What are the benefits to the farm for having an Annual Membership?

What’s the next step?

If you’re interested in becoming an annual member, put down a deposit HERE to secure your spot. (This will be applied to your first month). Then you will sit down with our staff to make sure this is the right fit for you. We’ll look at your monthly/weekly food needs and your financial situation to help you select the sizing that best suits your needs (this includes veggies, meat and additional options including eggs, milk, cheese and bread).

PIck up:

PIck up is at the same time as the weekly seasonal CSA pick up, but just like in that model, you can always opt for a prepacked share to be picked up at any other point during our open hours.

Pick up is right outside (or inside weather dependent) our farm store here at Bread and Butter Farm located at 200 Leduc Farm Rd, Shelburne, VT.

Pick Up Day/Time:

Summer - Tuesdays 3-6

Fall - Tuesdays 3-6

Winter - Tuesdays 3-6

Spring - Tuesdays 3-6

*For annual members, the date ranges of our seasonal CSA aren’t all that important as you will have access to our food/farm store during some of the weeks we may not be running our seasonal CSAs.

Flexible Pick Up Options

If you can’t make those days/times, we are HAPPY to pack you a prepacked share. You will have access to a weekly online form to fill out your wishlist of food to be prepacked for you to pick up on your selected preferred pick up day.

Missed Weeks

If you need to miss a week or more of pick ups, you have some options!

You can always donate the share to a friend or family member to come pick up instead
You can pick up the missed number of items when you return (please know, due to seasonality and the unknown nature of farming, some items are more limited at pick up than others and cannot be taken more than once)
Food does not roll over to new seasons, but please know we understand how life throws curveballs and are here to work with you for extenuating circumstances!

Payment

You will be charged monthly on the day of your choice. If you wish to cancel at any time, we require one month’s notice.

Example: Small Veggie ($80) + Milk ($31.50) + Eggs ($31.50) = $143 per Month. In this scenario you will receive: 52 weeks of customizable veggies at 4 items per week, 1⁄2 gallon of milk per week (your choice of 2% or whole), and one dozen eggs per week.
