Eat with us year-round! Our Annual Membership is designed for those ready to commit to seasonal, organic food from the farm all year long. It’s our most convenient and cost-effective option.

You choose the membership level that best fits your household, based on how much food you’d like each week—including vegetables, meat, and add-ons. Payments are made automatically on a monthly basis, so there’s no need to worry about renewing seasonal shares.

This flexible program works well for households of all sizes, and comes with additional benefits for both members and the farm—outlined below.

    • This is the most affordable, most convenient model we offer

    • This model eliminates the need for you to think about registering and getting a spot in every season

    • Pick up is flexible - you can come to our weekly market pick up or anytime during our open hours

    • Eating with us annually reconnects you to what it means and feels like to eat, year round, in season, from the earth on which you stand and live. 

    • Automatic monthly payments eliminates  the need for you to think through payment plans and lump sum payments

    • For the farm, having a limited number of monthly members helps us to have a steady cash flow that we can rely on, allowing us to focus on more fun things like YOU!

    • Seasonal eating ties you to the weather, the unknowns, the community of soil and people and animals and microbes all trying to build and restore and regenerate together

    • Engaging with us year-round will help bring consistency to your engagement to Bread & Butter Farm, which has numerous benefits for you and for us!

    • This model offers you a chance to mimic the lifestyle that we as farmers feel, eating and nourishing ourselves with this food as a constant foundation of our every day.

  • We limit the number of our annual memberships and we have regular contact with members so that we can make sure the membership is working out well. The annual membership works well for people who plan to eat with us year round, it offers the greatest discount on our food and we assure the more limited items will be available for our annual members, and we offer more fun perks to the annual members! Annual members have a convenient monthly payment plan. Overall, we offer the annual membership to help deepen connection and build community through our eaters, provide the most affordable way to eat with us, and offer exciting perks! Think of our Annual Membership like the Platinum Membership with an airline (weird analogy, we know!).

Pick up:

Pick up is at the same time as the weekly seasonal CSA pick up!

Pick up is right outside (or inside weather dependent) our farm store here at Bread and Butter Farm located at 200 Leduc Farm Rd, Shelburne, VT. 


Pick Up Day/Time:

All seasons: Tuesdays 3-6pm

*For annual members, the date ranges of our seasonal CSA aren’t all that important as you will have access to our food/farm store during some of the weeks we may not be running our seasonal CSAs. 


Flexible Pick Up Options

If you can’t make those days/times, we are HAPPY to pack you a prepacked share. You will have access to a weekly online form to fill out your wishlist of food to be prepacked for you to pick up on your selected preferred pick up day. 


Missed Weeks

If you need to miss a week or more of pick ups, you have some options!

  1. You can always donate the share to a friend or family member to come pick up instead

  2. You can pick up the missed number of items when you return (please know, due to seasonality and the unknown nature of farming, some items are more limited at pick up than others and cannot be taken more than once)

  3. Food does not roll over to new seasons, but please know we understand how life throws curveballs and are here to work with you for extenuating circumstances!
