Barn Concert with Elisabeth Pixley-Fink

Barn Concert with Elisabeth Pixley-Fink

Join us for a special live music event in our historic Event Barn. Our first concert will feature Elisabeth Pixley-Fink with special guest Chris Dorman!

Monday, April 1 at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.)
(Chris will open with a singer-songwriter set)

Elisabeth Pixley-Fink is a Michigan-based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. Her blend of distinctive folk and bratty garage rock hits you in the chest with guts, trust and hunger. Heartbreaking and heart-making. Heartskin, her upcoming full-length album, was recorded on tape in Detroit and Kalamazoo, Michigan, and mixed by Tim Carr (Perfume Genius, Hand Habits). Raised by a musicologist and a math professor in Kalamazoo, she also has musical ties to Portland, Oregon and Mexico City, and loves queer fashion and queer futurism.

“A campfire personality, that talent that you’re born with. See her perform and you can’t turn away; you just stay there observing the fire, hypnotized.” — Luis Alberto González Arenas

Walking Farm Tour

On Tuesday July 11, during Tuesday's CSA pick up, from 4:30-6 come join Bekah and Corie for a walking farm tour!  It's one thing to come and pick up your food on the farm, but it's another thing to really get a sense for the breadth and wide array of everything that we have going on (and there's a lot).

We'll take you around through the veggie production areas, down to the pigs, up to the woodland home of our beloved Village School program, chat about the cattle, the farm store, and really anything else that you all are curious about. There's SO much to learn about what we're up to here, the meaning and intentionality behind it all, and it's hard to really make time to share it all with our dear community, so we hope to see you there to help give you a little more of a deeper dive into this labor of love.
