Henry Jamison with Isabel Pless
Wednesday, September 23rd @7pm (doors at 6pm)
TICKETS: $22 Adult/$18 Youth/Student
Henry Jamison is your favorite songwriter’s favorite songwriter. Called “one of America’s modern folk masters” by Atwood Magazine, he has spent the last decade touring and collaborating with a who’s-who of the contemporary indie scene, perhaps most notably Adrianne Lenker of Big Thief, who says "his songs sing me through mazes of my own sensuality and sadness, help me to feel less alone in the journey to understand myself more deeply, and to face gaping wounds.” Henry's latest LP, Big Flower Light Go Boom, is available on all major streaming services.

And here are a few words from Henry himself about the record…It’s been a long time coming and my life has changed quite a lot since I wrote it, but I stand behind it more than ever somehow. I said “big flower light go boom” when I saw fireworks for the first time and it’s that same response to the beauty and terror of the world that makes me keep writing songs. Other than that, it isn’t “about” anything. It isn’t a “project” and there’s no overarching concept. It’s just friendship and solitude all mixed together. It’s just…seeking.
Henry collaborated with many artists on the new record including Isabel Pless, who will open the show this September!
