Join us for a special live music event in our historic Event Barn. Our first concert will feature Elisabeth Pixley-Fink with special guest Chris Dorman!
Monday, April 1 at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.)
(Chris will open with a singer-songwriter set)
Elisabeth Pixley-Fink is a Michigan-based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. Her blend of distinctive folk and bratty garage rock hits you in the chest with guts, trust and hunger. Heartbreaking and heart-making. Heartskin, her upcoming full-length album, was recorded on tape in Detroit and Kalamazoo, Michigan, and mixed by Tim Carr (Perfume Genius, Hand Habits). Raised by a musicologist and a math professor in Kalamazoo, she also has musical ties to Portland, Oregon and Mexico City, and loves queer fashion and queer futurism.
“A campfire personality, that talent that you’re born with. See her perform and you can’t turn away; you just stay there observing the fire, hypnotized.” — Luis Alberto González Arenas
