You're been asking for ages, and this year we can happily offer adult workshops at the farm! We are delighted to offer more opportunities to adults as well as kids for reconnection to the land. Run by Coleen, these five workshops offer a variety of hands-on experiences.

HIDE/LEATHER SEWING: MEDICINE POUCH MAKING

Dates: July 18, 9 am - 2pm
Cost: $90 plus $25 materials fee (unless you have your own materials)

This course will be a combination of a sewing lesson as well as experiential time for hands on craft. You will learn different methods to sew hides, a number of stitches that are best for sewing leather, and we will touch on the basics of pattern making for sewing hides together. For the experiential hands on craft time, you are welcome to bring your own leather project that I could help you with, or with the materials fee I can provide you with leather and a basic pattern to create your own medicine pouch. The leather I will provide you with is local leather!
