Our work at Bread and Butter Farm is to re-imagine a collaborative working landscape that takes care of the soil, microorganisms, plants, animals, farmers, neighbors, and community that depend on this land. Through this work, we engage all members of our community in real and meaningful ways. We provide healthy, ecological food and products as well as joyful experiences that reaffirm our connection to each other and to our environment.
Store hours: Monday-Friday 8:00-4:00; Saturday 9:00-2:00. (Closed Sundays.)
Education on the Farm
Mentorship and lifelong learning are integral to our work. We create space for people of all ages to engage in meaningful experiences on our land through a variety of experiences
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)
Eating is how we learn about our landscape, how we share experience with loved ones, and how we nourish our bodies. Join our community as a member of our CSA!
Farming Practices
We work alongside the plants, animals, and microorganisms on the farm as land stewards. Together we nurture a habitat that will sustain us and our community within the fabric of an intact and thriving ecosystem.
Getting Here
We are located about 7 miles south of Burlington, on the South Burlington - Shelburne line. Our driveway is Leduc Farm Road, right off of Cheesefactory Road, between Hinesburg Road (116) and Dorset Street. Cheesefactory Road is 4 miles south of Route 2 in South Burlington.
Blank Page Cafe
Blank Page Cafe is a farm-to-table inspired coffee shop sharing space in the Farm Store. Mike specializes in creating farm fresh treats both sweet and savory, as well as performance enhancing coffee drinks and nourishing herbal teas.
In March 2019 Mike obtained his catering license and has started to offer Meals-To-Go as part of the Online Farm Store where you can pre-order meals (any other cafe goodies!) seasonally available on Thursdays.
All of BPC baked goods are gluten free and oftentimes grain free. And Mike strives to incorporate as many local farm fresh organic ingredients in his menu, and the results are delicious AND nutrient dense. Blank Page Café is a place for you to engage with your senses and enjoy food, coffee and your community.
